Join Us in Celebrating Pride Month 2025
Let us gather in community to honor and uplift the invaluable contributions of LGBTQIA+ individuals at UCSF and beyond. Pride Month is rooted in a history of collective action — from the 1966 Compton’s Cafeteria Riots in San Francisco to the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York City. These pivotal moments were responses to longstanding injustice and helped spark a movement centered on dignity, inclusion, and the right to live openly and authentically.
As we reflect on this legacy, we also celebrate the courage, resilience, and unwavering authenticity of our communities. Pride is both a remembrance and a renewal — a time to recognize the progress made and recommit to creating a more just and affirming future for all.
We invite everyone to join us for a series of Pride Month events throughout June.
SF Pride Parade 2025

UCSF heads once again to this year's Annual San Francisco LGBTQ Pride Celebration & Parade! Register by June 25 to march with UCSF. Free t-shirts will be available at the parade on a first-come, first-served basis
